Return to A-Foam Introduction

Class A Foam on House Plants

Well, let’s think about it. Class A Foam (Foam is Bubbles & Bubbles is Water) has reduced surface tension and loves carbon (house plants are mostly carbon). Adding Class A Foam (.3-.5% Sol – NOT full strength concentrate) will result in the water clinging to the plant and due to the reduced surface tension, absorbing into the plant faster. The plant may brown up temporarily due to the shock of the unusally rapid absorption, but then once the plant realizes it is absorbing water, will usually green up again.

Since CompressedAirFoam.com only uses and recommends high quality Class A concentrates, no stories of plant death have ever been relayed. So, the recommendation – use only high quality foam concentrates and “Play With It & See”. Apply your concentrate in finished foam form on an inexpensive house plant and observe the results. Needless to say, apply the foam in a low energy method so the plant is not ripped apart.
