NOTE: Green Screen certifies that a product is free from flourine and/or fluorine compounds – it does not test products for corrosivity and any of the other safety related tests conducted by the USFS (see QPL list). Green screen certification MAY NOT cover all the safety issues desired by the fire service.
“Green Foam Concentrates” is becoming a catch all phrase to identify new products manufactured to provide the same or similar water enhancements and simultaneously provide no detrimental effects to health or the environment. Green foam concentrates continue to be designed and marketed for the various specific enhancements of the water.
However, there is what is known as GreenScreen Certification.
