What is the “Right Way to Operate a CAF System?”
Simple answer – “Any way you want.” It’s a mixing system made of 3 separate machines. One machine doesn’t know what the other is doing. None of the machines know what kind of concentrate you are using, nor what kind of nozzle (smooth bore or fog) if any is on the end of the hose, or even the length of the hose for that matter.
Our Suggestion: “Play with it and See!” Just make sure you know “How Not to Destroy the System” .

A few departments, agencies and organizations have failed with their CAF programs, mainly because they didn’t look at it as a program and didn’t follow the basic recommendations. There are many departments operating CAF successfully. They follow the basic recommendations (especially the big 3).
